01—Introduction
We rebuilt it in 2019. Kept the frame, the stove and the low windows, replaced everything that had given up. It sleeps six without anyone being in the way, and we rent it out about twenty weeks a year, directly, to people who write to us first.

We came for the lights and ended up inside most of the week, which turned out to be the point. The stove holds all night if you bank it properly, Marte left a note explaining exactly how.

Three steps,

Check the dates
Write to us with your dates and how many of you there are. We answer the same day and hold the dates for 48 hours while you decide.
02
Confirm and pay
Half up front by bank transfer, the rest a fortnight before you travel. Cancel more than 30 days out and the deposit comes back in full; inside 14 days we keep it unless we can re-let the week.
03
Let yourself in
The door code arrives the morning you travel. Firewood stacked, stove laid, nobody waiting in the drive.
